Default TCX Competizione S Boots

I'm looking to buy some of these off the web. I know they are highly rated for safety and comfort but I want to know how the sizes tend to fit. Ie, if you have bought some of these, did you buy your normal size or were they too tight so you had to go up a size? Nobody stocks them around here to try so any help would be great.

Thanks
Alan

I've got the Comp RS in a 44, which fit perfectly, I take a 44 in Sidi and 44 in most shoes although I can squeeze in to 43. Are you comparing against shoes or other bike boots?

I have these, they are size 43 & I normally take 8-9 (8 is usually tight so 8.5+ really) in shoes. I have another set of Oxtar TCS Sport (TCX = Oxtar) in a 43 as well, they fit a little better I think (possibly because they are VERY worn in!).

I also have a pair of Hein Gericke boots (they are quite subtle plain boots to give you an idea, I bought them to blend in under trousers and not look like motorcycle boots) in a 42, I definitely wouldn't go smaller than that.

All the sizes fit me fairly well so I'd say a 43 for TCX is around an 8.5/9 if I had to guess.

I've got these. But not sure what to advise on size apart from go to a local place, try them on and haggle if they're right for you.

I seem to be scuffing the toe off on the left hand boot (if that makes sense!) not sure if it's my riding or if they're a bit soft on the toe. Might not be a problem for you.

Very comfortable on me though!

Edit* Just had a look on the J&S Accessories website, looks like they do them, and they're in Northwich. Shouldn't be much of a mission from Stockport. See here...

Thanks guys. I'm going to take a chance on my normal shoe / boot size which isn't normally a problem. I have had problems with Shimano bike shoes but I believe their sizes tend to be on the small size.

Thanks again.

Alan.

Rubbish. Tested a pair for a dealer down here alongside the owner, both found they pinched and were well uncomfy
