Default Newbie checking in!

Hello there

Friday night, I'm sat down, digesting a large curry that I'd rushed home from work to eat with my family when my wife says "your bike's not out the front". I'd parked outside my house instead of going to the garage so that I could save the kids a wait for their tea - anyways, I chased the scumbags who nicked the bike, they were around the corner stuffing it into the back of a saloon car! They hared off, barely missing a neighbour who was crossing the road with his shopping, but the bike - an 03 plate Bandit 600s with less than 7,000 miles on it was gone.

I have a scabby old 60,000 mile T plate Bandit 600s which is pretty well fit for the scrappie, so I've chopped it in against an SV650Sk4 which is fitted with a tail tidy and an acumen alarm/immobiliser apparently - I don't know, it just sounds fan-bloody-tastic!

So anyways, not the best way to fall into SV ownership, but I can't wait until Wednesday when I get to pick it up and ride home!

I've had a full bike licence since 1987, had many bikes and all I can say is flaming people for what they ride is a bit of a waste - although the C70 I used to bomb around Colchester on was probably taking that a bit too far

Haha, we C70 riders used to look down on C50s!
I remember pushing the damn thing all the time, such a small petrol tank and good fuel economy meant I always forgot to fill it up and ran out of fuel very often!
Bike shall remain in the garage, I'm thinking of fitting a bolt into the floor to secure it inside the garage too, and the missus and kids can wait for their tea in future!
Wouldn't mind but the bike was actually on a strip of slabs right outside my front door
