Default Lucky Insurance Find

Was doing test quotes on the internet yesterday and as usual tried playing with different insurers and different details on the policiy.

After flicking through the many pages i noticed an "Add Modification" button.
After clicking on this and seeing crash protectors/frame sliders as an option i added these to my policy as i, obviously, have them fitted.

Anyway when clicking Get My Quote i noticed my premium went from £283 right the way down to £231. Considering everything else on my policy was left unchanged from a previous quote how did it reduce so dramatically???

Has anyone else experienced this kind of reduction with thier policies??? Seeing as they cost around £50 anyway, surely frame sliders are a no brainer for everyone then???

Bear in mind that if the quote is a computer glitch the company can and have withdrawn cover weeks or even months later

If something looks too good to be true it usually is

I got a quote. £535. Fair enough. Added a "33bhp restrictor kit from over 40bhp or more" and it went up to £2250??!

I'll try this crash bung thing to my policy, I love saving money!
