...a hotel/B&B in the Hyde park area, 'reasonable' distance from Paddington Station please. Only staying one night...just me and the missus (not interested in Theatre deals etc). I am busy checking out trip advisor etc but there's like 37 billion and then some, roughly.

Lot of places easilly accessible by the Tube, so you don't need anywhere right on the doorstep to Hyde Park

Going to Hard Rock calling by any chance?

If this link works then here are some hotel in the Hyde Park area. But if you want cheaper then go to Travelodge or Holiday in Express sites for cheaper deals.

My mate stayed in a nice new hotel for his stag weekend, but for the life of me I can't remember the name

I went to lastminute.com and used their mystery hotel deal. Ended up staying in a 4* hotel in mayfair for £80 a night, usual price £350.

You don't know exactly where you are staying till you've confirmed the booking but I think all the hotels are decent.

i'm sure there is an Ibis or something similar right round the corner from the station.
