hi all i have a sv rear end that ive been collecting and building for a project bike, ive brought all the parts i needed and the final one was a seat cowl genuine suzuki part, can any 1 tell me why there is such a large gap between the faring and the cowl? i have seen sv's close up with the same cover but none have the large gap like mine its for a k4 and and my subbie is k3 but have pannels off a k5 and k3 and they all fit fine.

I have a K3 with the same OEM seat cowl, and mine has a gap just like yours. I haven't bothered trying to get it any flusher. Not sure if you find this reassuring though. We might just be the 'unique' ones. HTH. Chin

I took the rubber stoppers off my pillion seat and swapped them for the slightly larger ones on the seat cowl. There's still a wee bit of a gap there now but it's nothing like as much as before.
