I've got a raid 2. Great lid. I went to cmc last week to the Shoei service centre and the woman there told me that my lid is WAY too big .
Looking out for another raid 2 aswell, this time in large!
Paid £160 for mine this time last year (patterned not plain) Jesus they've gone up in price!!

Did you see that price online? If so its worth popping in to the shop too as my local Hein Gerick has one for sale for £35. Yes £35, its not a typo, but the lid was an x-small. D'oh.

The reason for the difference in price is that when the credit crunch affected the cost of importing goods, Shoei raised their prices by 30% to counteract this and have only recently reduced prices by 15%.

If you can find any stores that got stock in at the old prices then they may pass this saving onto the customer.

If you find something that you really like - go to the Feridax website : www.feridax.com then you'll find all the new stock and the RRP - send me a PM and I'll see what sort of discount I can get you!

I currently have a Raid II and have been more than happy with it - due to my sudden rapid hair loss I shall be looking for a new lid in the near future & will definitely look at this model.

As for a bargain ? Well, I shall probably wait until the BMF Tail End Rally in September as they tend to have good deals on those colour schemes that are being replaced the following year.

Having just looked at your location, the last paragraph probably isn't of much interest to you - sorry !!

I got a raid 2 and it has been one of the best buys I made. I hate how uncomfy nitro lids are.
