Booked the bike in for its first service this saturday coming, managed to cram in nearer 600 than 500miles and am really happy with the bike upto now
![]() Anyways, how much should I expect to pay for the 1st service and how long should it take?? Have fitted a Powerbronze dark DB screen and fenda extenda and plan to fit a Scottoiler soon after the service, will it affect the suzuki warranty?? Getting 160 miles from brimming full to flashing fuel light (no above 6500rpm atm) - is that about right? Chris

Normally the dealer would include this free or at least labour would be free as part of the purchase price.
IIRC its an oil change and then check the bike over for loose bolts etc etc. Its not a big job and shouldnt take to long to do. Not sure on cost though. As for milleage yep 160 miles sounds pretty good, some will get less some will get more, you'll find it'll drop once you've finished running in ![]()

Mine was labour free and parts £45. It's just an oil change and check over of the bike followed by a short test ride. Took an hour and a half for mine.

My Versys first service was 32 quid, the second (3750 miles) service was done the other day at a cost of 64 quid - I rode in to book the service and they did it there and then, and made me coffee and a bacon panini while I waited... it's great having a franchised dealer just up the road who's been one of your close mates for 25 years.
The next service is the biggy, gonna be a little pricier I think. |

first service was £99 for me, I just dropped the bike in and got a courtesy bike. This was a main Suzuki dealer. Streetbike in Halesowen.
First service used to be free, but Suzuki have since changed their policy. |
