Gel Seat for a K3 - SV650.org

Hi.

I am looking for a new gel seat for my 650S K3. I am doing more and more miles and need a bit more extra comfort.

At the moment I think I am being given the run around by Suzuki who assure me that their seat (990A0-61000) will fit my K3. However, every piece of info I have read on the internet says it won't. I suspect I am being convinced by a guy who works for commision. Having said that, the Apr 09 Suzuki Accesories brochure does say the seat will fit a K3. That is the only place that I have seen the seat with K3 written against it. I have seen a seat in the USA (99950-62182) but I haven't found anyone in the UK who sells one.

Does anyone have any ideas if the 04 seat really will fit, or am I wasting my time and money. Alternatively, do any K3 owners have any ideas where I might be able to get a decent gel seat.

I would also welcome any opinions on the best makes and whether they really are worth the money.

the 04 onwards seat are different when it comes 2 the standard seats so im sure a lowered one will be the same K3 seat only fits the k3 model bike.

Get yours modified. Search the site for gel seat conversion. Will cost you no more than buying an OEM gel seat
