As some of you know i run a strange chines pointy headlight thing.
Now what i would like to know if anyone could help me with a few problems: What sort of temperature difference is there between a 35w h1 and a 55w h1 bulb? as the 55 melted the rubber boot. also i need a replacement rubber boot but one that can take the temp of the bulb alot better. Can i get one made or should i hunt for something that will bodge? One last thing is that i would say the diameter of the fitting is no bigger than a 10p coin so finding something to fit is an issue. thanks brock. |

I'd be worried about what else might melt.

Been running h1 55w and nout melted apart from one corner of the rubber which deteriorated rather quick....but i think that was due to the cheerful chines side of things being built to a price.
but mainly any ideas on rubber boots or maybe silicone type thing as it can withstand more. |
