We've just had a right down pour of big bouncing rain drops with sun shining through making it all bright and mystical looking in my garden..

Went out for a quick blast to helmsley and back yesterday - there was alot of mud and dust and general crap on the roads which will now hopefully be washed away. Also, it was the first time I wore my leathers and regular HG gloves instead of textiles and big winter gloves = wasn't cold at all...

Going to the IoM (the island, not the advanced riding lot) with preston on friday to stay with manxmatt for the weekend, down to drew & lily's for the MESS rideout the weekend after, then we're also organising a carlsberg ride

Summer is basically here and I'm so flippin excited

what have you lot done lately or got planned for this year?

p.s. clocks go forward this weekend as well.. BOOM!

I've been riding to work for the last week because the car is in being fixed (and is now fixed - power steering pump on its way out and making a terrible whine)

Practically every day (except yesterday) I've gotten rained on quite heavily, including this morning (it's bright sun outside now, of course). I've enjoyed all the time out and about, but at the same time all the rain kinda spoils it.

Quite sure I'll get the car back tomorrow and feel compelled to use it, and the weather will be gorgeous for the rest of the week and I'll wish I was on the bike instead. I can't win!

screw it I'm gonna go get a caramel kitkat chunky to celebrate..

also considering doing some novice only track days and trying to get to europe if funds allow
