Default Guilty

I do not know the sentence, but I had a letter waiting for me when I got home today from the magistrates court asking for my bank details to pay £400 in compensation. Let me guess at a £1/month.

Still now to get the ball rolling with the criminal injuries compensation claim. Oh how I love the claim culture. But it will cost more than they will award to have my nose sorted out. They did it at the time at the local hospital. It is straighter than before they did it. But not a straight as it was before I went for a fathers day drink.

I guess as he has to pay compensation to me, they have not locked the bully away.

Only some forces do this. I know we don't receive information from the court regarding outcomes of cases and sentences. It's a PITA cos we have to go looking for results of cases and/or read it in the local paper!

Well done Tim, have a pint on me!

As for the result, just phone the court, ask for court results and give them the name of the guilty party.

He did. He should be "greeting" the "ladies" in prison by rights. Why people can smash someone's face for no reason and get away with just a steepish fine I don't know. Probably the prison's full.

Normally I have a fairly liberal attitude to criminal justice but there has to be a line somewhere!

if it helps tim I got £1700 for my nose getting caved in.

My mum handled the claim as I was only 17 at the time but I'd imagine she'll still have the paper work knocking about or at least know who she used.
