Ok, so I have purchased Mikelcfc's Scorpion can he was selling on here. He has sent me the can, link pipe and bracket but me being a complete numpty when it comes to these things, has no idea where to start with fitting it.
Can someone maybe give me step by step...BASIC, and I mean basic, instructions? My bike is a K1 btw... |

Have you got something to cut the pipe with? A grinder or hacksaw?

Get a decent blade and cut your silencer off, usual spot is 50mm from the weld IIRC.

Dead simple. Like Mr YC said, get yourself a fresh hacksaw blade. Then measure 50mm from the exhaust weld back towards the current can. I would recommend if you can putting some masking tape on and draw on that, as stops the blade jumping around.
Then when sawing it WILL take ages.....but be patient. Once you get bout a third the way through it becomes easy. Then simply slide can onto link pipe, slide it on and secure on cut end with a clamp (can't remember what they are now!!!! Doh). Then attach can with strap.

Or buy a cheap angle grinder to cut it-----So much less like hard work.
