Just considering whether to buy a Gladius (My old SV got trashed last week with the help of a local car driver). If I buy one (when the insurance claim gets settled), I may get a replacement exhaust, but I was wondering what you all thought about the ones you can get in the UK. I have been listening to recordings on youtube, but the sound quality (i.e. mic or camera quality) is a bit dodgy on some so its difficult to know for sure.
Heard a Scorpion can on a SV650S yesterday and it wasn't that much to my taste - sounded quite angry but too much top and not enough bass for my liking. Would prefer something with a lower rumble to the sound. I think the dealer I have visited also does Two Brothers and Yoshimura. Anyone got either of these or anything else for that matter? The stock exhaust has a pleasant note but is a bit quiet until you really work the engine hard. Best wishes Ian |
