Mk3 Golf Karmann Cabriolet - £600 ono
Well it is finally time to say goodbye to a car that has served me well. I got this golf as a run around with the intention of using it for 4 weeks, that was nearly two years ago!!!
Sadly I needed a load lugger, which is the one thing this car cannot do. I have bought the new car so she needs to go. About the car: M reg 105,000 Miles. Fully stamped service book, original owners hand book & folder and some receipts. Engine and gearbox in great condition, but the bodywork is showing some battle scars (although virtually no rust) Interior is in great condition, just needs a clean. Just short of 11 months MOT, needed a new rear shock for this so got a new rear pair of gas shocks. Not sure how much tax it has, 5 months maybe. Original Sony CD player. Ronal R20 alloys Original hood, with no cuts or leaks. It does has two small wear holes shown in the pictures (see link below). New back box. Drivers window does not work on the switch but does work on the key. Central locking works fine, but you can only lock it from the drivers side. I have noticed the clutch possibly slipping a bit in the cold? As I said I never intended to keep the car this long, but kept finding more uses for it and being as it had been so bloody good I didn't want to let it go. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere, it is that reliable. So if you are after a bargain golf which will get you anywhere then come and take this off my hands.
