Red face Noobie saying hello

Hi all
Hoping i may be in the right place to say hi

As you see im new to the site and hoping you dont mind (in my 1st post) being a cheeky bugger

Im hoping you may be able to help a noobie out a little
ive been riding over 10 years had a couple of bikes, I currently ride a Triumph Sprint RS (all year round rider and use bikes as my main mode of transport, even in the deep dark depths of winter)

Im now looking at getting a SV1000sv.

Before i go handing over my hard earned cash Im hoping you guys / galls could give me some tips on whats good, whats bad, what to look out for on a 2nd hand bike and things to check over when looking at one. if there are any known / seem to be common niggles and any service recalls it should have had. also any guestimates on what the going ££££££ rate for a K5 SV would be, dont want to pay more than i should on the bike so i can spend more time on the roads

I hope you dont mind the cheeky introduction.

Scott
