Hi,
I've had a set of these for quite a few years and they've done me very well. Just make sure that the knee armour is in the right place for you. My thighs are slightly too long for them so the knee moulding tends to twist outwards. It's ok from a comfort point of view, but the knee slider ends up in the wrong place so I'm in danger of rubbing the knee moulding once I've worn the front edge off the slider. This wasn't a problem until I could get my knee down..... My made to measure leathers will be ready on Monday... Inside the jacket, if you unzip the bottom of the lining, you'll find that behind the vented bits of leather there are two bits of material that you can either velcro over the vents (cold days) or velcro back to open the vents (hot days). It's very simple, very effective but quite well hidden. The armour is held onto the lining by H-G's plastic poppers - it's worth buying a bag of these from H-G as they're quite easy to break when removing the armour when you wash the lining. I've not tested mine out by crashing in them, but I've done a fair few miles plus half a dozen track days in them so I'm happy about the quality. If they fit you well, I'd recommend them. Ian |

Awesome! I am going to give them a ride home tonight and have a test.
Just out of interest how much were your custom leathers? |

Custom leathers were part of a group purchase from Halo via the KTM forum. They should have been £1029 but because such a large group ordered we got them for £649. Suits have taken a while to come through but I am very happy with mine (I test fitted them a couple of weeks ago). A couple of people had issues with fit and were not very happy - it's difficult to prove whether these issues were with Halo or with dodgy measurements.

I've pretty much riden these every day this week.
The only problem I have is the bottom of the leg zipper digs into an inch above my ankle when I put my boots on ![]() So I am in pain all the way to work... Are they my boots or are the trousers not right? Last edited by nikon70; 12-08-11 at 10:21 PM. |

Maybe try twisting the bottom of the trouser leg around slightly before you put your boot on.
