Default cleaning my pointy! (all the insides and stuff!) how?

Does anyone have any good tips/techniques or 'do's & don't' on how to clean all the bits of the motocycle that get dirty and mucky over time?

I'm talking about the bits like the radiator, filter and the generally things around that area!

Thanks

Just spray it with ACF50 in autumn and wash it all off in the spring!

I use a bucket and sponge, degreaser and do it slowly and methodically before letting it dry in the sun and then coating with wd40. I apply polish to the bare metal and wax to the paint.

It is a machine that is going to get dirty, but if you want to store it in your living room, then by all means get the old tooth brush out and clean it in minute detail. If it is your workhorse though a general clean and lube will be fine.

I do not use a jet wash or pressure hose because I think that these things can put high pressure water into places it should not be, damaging delicate bits.

Back of the swing arm and around the rear spring. Theres lots of places around that area that can hold the crud in. Oh and inside the front sprocket cover too.
