Default the triumph sprint

i hate to admit it, even though it over priced for what it is.

its a pretty awesome bike. was the pillion on the back of my mates sprint for the first time today, even though he has owned it for over a year now. was impressed by the engine power and a very comfortable ride. Overall not bad looking and pretty decent headlights.

but still rather my cbr600rr for its, uncomfortable ride, poor headlights, poor MPG, lack of low end power, lack of pillion seat comfort, stupid fairing with too many bits, hard suspension, hard to work bike. but dam its looks cool

You think the sprint is over priced???
Pretty much everyone in the biking media think they are great value, go look at the price of a similar jap litre sports tourer with panniers etc.

I paid £7500 for mine brand new as it was the last of the older models before the slight facelift model which incidentally now doesnt come with panniers as standard.

They are great, underated bikes imo.

Thats the difference between looking good and being good -----I know which I would rather do a 500mile day on. Comparing the price between both new RR and the Sprint I can't see how you consider it expensive.

Expensive? Have you looked at the price of a new VFR, or a Z1000SX, or an FZ1S?

They are the same price as a GSX1250FA, and that's a Bandit 1250 with a full fairing on it and a 15 year old basic tubular steel cradle design, and the Sprint is a far superior bike to a Bandit.
