Due to my Promotive can being just tooo loud, I ordered a Blue Flame Evo. Then people started slating the build quality. I finally fitted it a month or so ago, and did 900 miles on the bike last week-end.
No problems and still holding together. I would think it would break sooner, rather than later, if it was going to. For anyone interested, I run with the plug in, and though start-up noise is louder than a standard can - more like a race can, the noise doesn't rise above about 5000 revs. I run the pipe on Micron high level headers, which means the can exit is just below the indicator. I had to shave the rear fender to make the exhaust fit tight. Araf |
