Default Restricted naked k4, how fast will it go?

Just about to receive my restricted sv650 k4, already run in, it's an ex demo with a 1000 miles on the clock. So I can plan my routes, how fast will it go, anyone who's got experience of this?

Thanks

Faster than you can, probably - unless you've got forearms like Arnie and a grip like a gorilla

Assuming that you have the above physical characteristics and a long enough staight bit of road then about 120mph (genuine, not clock reading).

WTF I've only managed to get my restricted K4 to 99mph. Obviously on a track

Be extremely careful on those tyres in this weather

I went for a rideout with the Scottish folk and was able to keep up. Hypothetically speaking ...they might start to leave you behind at 60mph and clear off at 80mph

Don't listen to Jabba. He rides a hornet

Aye - I do. Top speed tested by several magazines at 142mph (genuine).

No idea how they hung on at that speed, though

I've had mine to 120mph flat out going into slight head wind. The engine, exhaust, and air filter are all stock. I've read different magazine articles on the 04 SV650 engines top end speed. The consensus report for a top speed for the 04 naked is 128mph.
Cheers, Richard

Thanks guys. I'm intially going to go for a ride with my dad (sv1000s, lowers) and my brother (yamaha r6), at least this means they'll only have to wait at the ned of the ride for 20 minutes, rather than an hour. They like to go fast.

Also, although not looking like an ox, i have sufficient strength to hold on at top speeds, so no issue.
