Default Engine Tuning

Does anybody know of anywhere in the south where i can get the 700 overboar kit. I was thinkin about ordering it and doing it DIY but since it will also need Dyno time i figure its easier just to pay to have it done. Anybody know?

i dont know if you can get to them but HM Racing near Orpington are very popular. the waiting list is about a month which says a lot. i dont know if they can supply either big bore kits but they certainly have the rolling road. i get my dynojet done there early next month. check them out www.hmracing.co.uk

There's a 750 option on the JHS website... 2 in fact, big bore and stroke and bore. IIRC Holeshot Racing do it as well.

The 750 should work equally well for either bike, since the lump's findamentally the same... Email him and ask!

You can get the same effects as the G-pak with a little bit of wiring and a resistor or two IIRC, on the injected bikes. Not vey much benefit anywya, certainly not worth the cash IMHO.

Oh yes, might be worth adding that personally I wouldn't go with the 750 unless you have no worries about reducing your engine's lifespan... Rods and crank aren't built for it. Seems that to make it work reliably, you need to basically rebuild the engine...

I *will* be going for the 750 kit and will also be upgrading the rods and cranks at the same time (along with a few other internal mods)

But you're building a crazy race bike with an engine that will cost more than an entire SV You're excluded on those grounds

have you seen Duc Owner on SV Rider's crazy 125bhp SV plan?
