I have always had two small niggles with my naked K4 since I got it new - lack of visibility from the mirrors and the handlebars being too far forward meant my arms relaxed straight and I received a shockwave everytime I found a pot hole, which around Essex/Herts are numerous.
Today I slackened off the handlebar bolts and revolved them towards me, leaving enough room for my thumbs against the tank. I then realigned the front brake and clutch levers and finally readjusted the mirrors. The driving position is now much more relaxed and my arms are slightly bent. This has reduced the shock waves considerably. The bonus is that I can now see out the rearview mirrors instead of staring at my elbows. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
