How many miles have you declared to you ins co?
How many have you declared vs how many have you done.
I originally only told them less than 5000, but I am less than 6 months into the policy and have done 4000. Called them to bump it up and the lady tried 8k/10k/12k/15k and told me it was all the same cost of £87.80 for remaining policy, so I will probably go for 15k. I need to bump up as I think in the summer I might go to Portugal and clock 3000 return.

I have class 1 business use and unlimited mileage on mine, so none of those fit, really.

Last year I didn't do my allowed 8000 miles.
This year I've added Class 1 business use and will be selling my car shortly. Might get a bit near to it this year

Last year, I was on track for nearly 20,000 miles, having only declared 5,000 I think
 . However, the crash took a lot out of that, and I ended up with about 15,000.This year, I declared 10,000, which is pretty much spot on (my vote), as I'm not doing the 50+ miles/day just to get to work.

Declared 4000 in the year July 2004 to July 2005, so far we're 11 months into it and i've done 20000!!!!
