I was a member of the 400greybike forum when I had one and had never heard of any going pop (they are Honda's after all). They are awesome but expensive to run. I regreted selling mine.

As Matt said they weren't replaced by anything. I was told that engine parts weren't that hard to find using ebay etc and the forums. The panels are though and if you can find them they cost a bomb.

Honda 400s seem to spit plugs out. I know 4 guys with RVFs, 3 with CBR400s and 2 tih VFR400s and of that, 1 RVF has psat one out, 2 of the cibbers have and one vfr has As I say though, I only really know those amount of people with them, so they might just be unlucky, but if it werent the size that put em off already I think I'd steer well clear
