Default GSX-R 1000 forks on a pointy SV650S-K3

I have almost ordered a GSX-R 1000 forks 2001/2002 for my SV. I will also need the other parts like the top yoke, brake discs, mudguard, brakes and clipons.

Does anybody know what I can still use from my SV?
Can I still use the grips, handlebar weights, brake and clutch levers from the SV?

And If I then have all the item I think I am going to my dealer to get them installed. Does anyone know how cheap/expensive that can be? I myself am not that handy and I do not want to mess up the suspension of my bike.

The fork would be like this:

Ill be doing the same soon, you can reuse all your SV controls but use the GSXR brake.

Dont forget the speedo will not work, the SV race shop sell a kit to run a new sensor off the GSXR wheel radial setup.

This is a DIY jb in my opinion (for me) but if your not comfortable get a shop to do it guess your talking 4 hours to do it!

You have a front wheel and calipers already as well?

For discs and clipons and discs , have a look here. http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=36826
Those are the only bits from the ad that you can use. You could possibly use your SV master cylinder as well.

The clips ones are TLS ones but better as they are a bit higher than the GSXR ones. The brake discs from All GSXR600/GSXR750/TL and Hayabusa upto 2003 will fit.

I've got a GSXR1000 top yoke , clipons(but I would say get the TL ones if you can). Also got a master cylinder of a TL which was what was on my bike when it had those forks and discs.

Lastly where are you based? Someone might be able to give you a hand if you are lucky .

Cheers
Ben

PayPal would be best, but you'll probably have to add 4% to the purchase price to cover PayPal's fees
