Default Turnbuckle doggones?

Anybody ever see/use these?

I've made my own in the past out of aluminum bar...but these (if useable) would have more adjustment options.

Look kind of cheesy, though.

I am doing the standard lowering of my wife's bike, which is now a 2001 sv650s.

There are some manufs that make them as well, but they are not cheep. What parts would you need to make a sutable & safe linkage?

never used them, i've just got the long dog bones from the lowering kit put on when i bought the bike. If they have many adjustment options they seem like a good idea. unlike mine mines lowered or very tall
