Default Fumes n crud

Hi All,

Been back on the bike now this year for a while, which is good, however, About October last year, I caught Bronchitis, not bad, but I couldn't play footy for a while

So since the new riding season this year, I've noticed that my breathing has gotten progressively worse and this week, and in particular today, I've started caughing some ugly ****e out of my lungs.

I normally have a neck scarf over my nose, and by the end of my journey to and from work, the thing is stinkin of car fumes and god knows what.

My question is:

Does anyone else have this, considering I do about 200 miles a day (approx) on the M4. Should I be concerned about the amount of car fumes and ****e I am breathing in?

I've today bought a respro mask off e-bay, in the hope that'll make things better, or at least take the **** away from my throat.

I have a real sore throat today, and caughing like mad.

Does anybody else on here suffer from this (car fumes etc) ?

I dont no. But I also have a respro mask in my lid. Every now and again when I remove it to clean it, its black with gunk and its pretty grim.

Personally I really rate them. I got one to divert breath away from my glasses to stop them fogging up and it does a great job. I never really thought about the fact that they act as a filter until I removed mine and noticed it was black and not blue anymore. I just popped it in the wash and it came up nice and clean again.

They are easy to fit. You attach a velcro pad to the chin bar of your lid and it attaches to that. Theres two velcro patches on each side of the respro and you use those to attach it to the cheek pads in your lid.

5 minute job.
