Picked it up last night. The girl I bought it from didn't hang around to watch me ride on off into the sunset..which is lucky as I stalled it straight away!!! My Rebel didnt' have a biting point as such so I'd completely forgotten to ease the clutch out gently.
For the first 10 minutes it was all stop start - not my fault. East end of London push hour traffic! Finally got on to the A3 with a bit of space around me & was able to burn off all those pesky kids on their mopeds. 1-nil to me! Cool bike, but I'll take a week to adapt fully from my 125. I can honestly say that the trip home scared the wilies out of me! But in a good way....like when you are able to walk away from a car wreck. Cornering at low speeds was a bit twitchy, but more likely than not that was me. Watch out for me on the yellow peril. Comnig to a road near you....soon! ![]() |

its probably for the best you chose the slowest colour, seeing as you have just upgraded from a 125. probably safest that way

It might vary a few pounds depending on the make of tyre and your riding style. However as you've just got your bike I wouldnt worry to much at the moment. Standard pressure will suit you just fine till you get a bit more used to it.
