Default Oh The Sweet, Sweet Induction Roar of the SV

This is my first big bike, had my K3 SV650S since February. The one thing that will stick in my mind about this bike is the mean induction roar. Get the revs and engine loading right and it just sends tingles down my spine.

Am I sad or do others feel this way too?

What do you like best about your SV?

Cheers
Tim.

Have you taken the Airbox off? (the black plastic cover over the filter) Becuase I can't really hear any roar with mine fitted.

My SV (my first big bike too!) sends tingles down my spine just looking at it

Starting it up makes me weak at the knee's

So glad i didnt opt for a ZXR400 as my first bike...dam inline four's! Nothing beats the growl and snarl of a twin with a race can

Not unless the previous owner did. Will be doing a service in a couple of weeks so I'll take a look then.

If you just undo the 2 allen key head bolts you can see at the front of the tank by the headstock and you can sneak a peak.

Have to take the front seat off to properly lift the tank.
