Ed tells me I have a secret bean eater near me. Maybe you do too.

Gusting to 35mph last night & set to get worse over the next few days.

not just wind, but rain too, had a lucky escape yesterday morning, the rear of my bike was blown from underneath me on a flooded part of the road. Managed to recover somehow, but would have crashed if something was coming the other way.

Yup, very windy. I get up several times in the night just to look out the window and make sure my bike isnt blown over. Bike cover not doing much of a job of covering the bike in the wind, and the turbulent air currents spiraling about the bike is sucking up rain underneath the cover

I think i'll lay it on its side before the wind does it in a more forcefull way...

Yep, got a bit gusty on the motorways this week. Nearly got sucked off (stop giggling) going past a big lorry. Thought that going faster might help, was quickly proved wrong!

The ONLY solution that doesn't involve the taste of tarmac is to back off the throttle.

At times, in a NSL, I've been riding at 40, with cars happily passing me way above 70. Ijit's. I just wave them goodbye.
