I would like the SV650 engine to be upgraded to 750, and slightly better suspension, designed for us heavier westerners, with comfier seat and maybe USD forks?
I think an engine capacity improvement might be likely when the range gets a little older as they just did this with the bandit 650.. what does everyone else think? what would be your priorities? Cigar lighter? Tow Hook? Custom with ape hangers? Race replica version? Make up mirror? |

Better paint schemes would be a first goal, I find the standard ones a little bland.
Perhaps I would completely rock the boat and design an SV sidecar outfit? ![]() Ah, but the best design alteration would have to be race cans as standard (with removeable baffles of course so they would scrape past the legislation!) |

Fully adjustable suspension.
Radial brakes. Braced swingarm, more rear ride height as standard. Capacity hike, poss 800cc to fit between the 650 and 1000. Better mirrors. As mentioned before a return to the better looking curvey frame too ![]() |

I think the two really important things that bug most SVer's is better suspension and a less corosive bike. Maybe some engine tunning would be good to get a little more power but 750cc seems a little excesive for what is a budget bike.
I'd like some sort of wavey disks.... but thats me.. Oh and the old frame back... ![]() |

Generally better quality bolts would be nice. As would better quality brakes. Suspension is obvious, and USD forks would be lovely. Get rid of the lowered back end that has appeared on the K4 and K5's, if you couldn't get your leg over a K3, then you shouldn't have bought one should you! I'm not certain about the capacity increase, but by all means add a new SVR model to the SV range.
