Default 15,000 mile service

Hi All - this may be a bit of a silly question, but it's not something I've had to do before, so I thought I should check:

My 2001 curvy S is right now on about 14,956 miles, so obviously the 15,000 mile service is due fairly soon. The question is, should I wait until it goes over 15,000 miles before I get it serviced, or should I do it right now?

Yours,

peanut simpleton

Six of one & half a dozen of the other. If you have the opportunity & finances, get it serviced early, I would.

Remember, 15k is valve check time.

100miles? I've been 2000miles late for a service and the dealer hasn't been fussed about it.

Oh I know and they would never refuse to serice no matter how long passed but I meant within a couple hundred would be ideal

Has anyone actually had their valves adjusted at this service, or do they always seem too be spot on?

Is it worth risking it? I understand MOST are spot on, but SOME aren't.

Assume yours isn't spot on, and it doesn't get checked. Ouch...

Mine didn't need doing at 16,000. As Baph says, I'd not chance it though.
