Default Uploaded a wee test clip- not from the AR

Just Youtubed some of the test run I did with the ATC 2K helmet mounted... Not a huge success, the picture quality's fine but every movement's totally exagerrated. I'd thought that having it on the helmet would avoid the vibrations, and it does, but you move your head so much that the camera goes all over the place. Also shows what happens when rain gets on the lens. So more an exercise in how not to do it, just doing it as practice before i start messing with the AR ones. A lot of people asked how it worked though, so, here it is not working. There was a lot of better footage, but none actually good enough, so I'm prtty much abandoning the helmet idea in favour of the bike mount. More to follow...

Yea, i think a bike mount might be better - the helmet mount just dosnt give the same sensation of speed and lean etc, it feels less involved.

Good song though

What, really? I chose that one because it was entertainingly rubbish It was Headswim by the way, great band now sadly forgotten.

Part of the reason there's no sensation of speed and lean is that I was going very, very slowly I binned it on that roundabout 2 weeks ago in a near miss and I've still not quite got my roundabout-fu back up to scratch. But I agree that losing the lean takes some of the fun out of it.
