I've heard lots of bad things about it...

...cutting out...

...bad customer support...

...amongst other things, which have all rolled up into "bad bad broadband"

But then again, it might be sorted out now

have been with them for a few months now and can't say I have issues with it.

started off with a lot of connection drop outs which was a problem with the extension I was using. re-wired the extension and it's been ok

now and then I get the noise margin to drop and hence the connection kind of dies but nothing that a router reboot won't fix.

if you are a gamer I would suggest you look elsewhere though - pings are very high for playing online games

im more worried about setting up the connection, do you just plug the wireless router/modem into the phoneline ? or is there more to it than that ?

If its anything like the BT home-hub thing...then yea, thats it. You have to configure your computers / laptops to connect though

the router comes with your login details already preloaded so yes you just plug the router to the phone line, connect your ethernet cable from your PC to the router and off you go.

if you are wireless then you just search for networks, find yours and the network key is on a sticker that comes with the router. how come you are not getting the free install? are you not on the max package?

they didnt mention a free install, was 50 or 80 quid, for the install.

so we thought we would give it a go, and if we couldnt do it - then we cough up the money.

right might have been that I've gone for a tv-phone-internet package on the max speed available £31 a month.
