I finally bought Oblivion

So far today, my time's been equally split between playing it, and periodically turning to my graphics card's overclock utility and shouting "RAMMING SPEED!"

I remember buying Final Fantasy 9 for the PS2. Started playing it at 2pm on the Saturday, and finally switched off through complete exhaustion at 2am on the Monday morning....................not that games are compulsive or anything

See you in a fortnight Northy................although I'm sure it won't take you THAT long to complete

A friend had a copy just before exams, I made him promise not to let me have it before I finished my degree.
I still haven't got round to have a look. I got back into Dungeon Keeper 2, the other day, though.

Oh dear, blew up my PC

Too many blue-screens in a row make XP an unhappy OS. It turns out that my 7600GT doesn't like being pushed past 650mhz clock speed. Which is still not bad, mind- I'd expected to see ATITool start to detect artifacts but it seems to be drivers that are crackign up, not architecture. Now, to see how fast the memory will go

The 7600GT's the SV650 of the graphics card world- not dazzlingly good out of the box, but you can make it go faster if you want, and if it explodes a new one's not too dear

Now, if I could just figure out how to wire up this damn Zalman fan- big thank you to Dell for not giving me some of the wiring connectors that Zalman take for granted
