Default Any experience with non oem starter relay?

Hi,
I have a starter relay that is badly coroded here and there, i saw original replacement on wemoto for 28.80 pounds plus shipping. Ebay is full of much cheaper ones from Far East. This is not a performance part by any stretch and I am sure wemoto part comes from China as well.
Any thoughts experience with cheap replacement for this particular oem part?

Ride safe
Greg

So the original one works but you want to change it for cosmetic reasons? Have I got that right? If so, I'd go original but that's because I am too old to go push-starting the thing if it packs up!

If you have an actual problem and are also hard-up, well, give it a go but these things can bite you on the bum as you end up buying the right thing in the end anyway.

Oh yes I forgot to mention it but the 30 amp fuse connections are iffy from the rust, so much oxidation that I cant clean it up anymore. Bike stopped working for this reason once, I was able to wiggle the fuse in and support it at the angle to get the contact back but the relay is more less fecked at this stage.

Thanks,
Greg

I have no experience of them, but I would personally go for an OEM relay as I've seen some incredibly shonky Chinese circuitry in the past. It may not be performance-affecting, but there's a lot of current going through it and it's not in the best of places if it starts a fire ...

Wemoto parts are normally good.
