Default What the chuff are these?

Just found them on the wall within a couple of inches of each other. were still (ice cold upstairs as central heating is only on downstairs) started zooming about once in front room on tissue paper. My guess would be fly larvae?

*Oh and they are the size of a grain of rice

They are larvae of the Death Beetle, named due to the fact that touching the larvae can lead to a slow and painful death. Symptoms start about 36 hours after touching and death usually occurs 48 hours after that.

Sorry my phone struggled with that pic. They are now in the bin, although alive in the bin. They were covered in hairs, prob hard to discern on the photo
