I have booked myself on to the Emergency Aid For Motorcyclists - St Johns Ambulance It turns out that at the moment, I'm the only bod that has booked Its on Sat 10th June from 09:00 to 13:30 at the Carlisle venue (its the closest to us) Anybody interested, its only approx 80-90 miles and could either stay overnight or just go there on the morning (only takes 1hr:10 mins from Carluke) Its £45.00 inclusive Any takers as if they dont get enough bods, they will cancel ? http://www.sja.org.uk/training/cours...CourseSection= |

I can't get there... But if you do go, suggest they get something up here. I don't know what numbers they need but I'll guarantee them at least one.

Good on that man, the most unselfish skill you can have gets off soap box Cheers Mark.

I was paramedically trained in a past life...I'm just wandering what you learn.
Taking off helmets? Dr ABC? Calling 999 is still the important thing. |

Hazel - Just checked St Andrews there, they do a couple of courses, Emergency First Aid & Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons Course which both cover a lot of stuff but methinks it might be better takin the one in Carlisle since it covers helmet removal etc, also some of the lads down South have done it recently.
Northy, yep, they will do a course up here but its 450 quid so would need minimum 10 bods to sign up to keep the price sensible (or 20 bods=buy one-get one free ) Quote:
