I like the look of this - same prices from chainspeed.co.uk as well.
Anyone got experience of using one? I know they have a reputation for being the best of the bunch, but comments on comfort, and interfacing with a mobile phone, which would probably be the selling point for me. |

Just buy a cheap one from Aldi or Lidl. Then if you want her indoors on the back to shut up you just go faster than 40mph and then you can't hear her.
One of the fantastic things about biking is that once in your lid and on the bike, there's only you and your iPod should you choose to take one! No getting pestered on the mobile phone either. Why spoil it with one of these bloody things? |

I've had one for a year and find it to be a very good piece of kit, I listen to the ipod, instructions from the GPS, receive telephone calls; and when attached to an appropriate radio bike to bike comms was very clear. The only asspect of it that I don't use is the intercom because I don't carry a pillion.
It's a good piece of kit and customer service from Autocom has been very good, when I got a new telephone they made a adaptor for it in a few minutes. I had them fit the system when visiting family in the Midlands but by the look of it and the instructions it's not a difficult thing to do. |

I have used an Autocom for about 5 years, mainly with an Ipod or for rider to passenger.
Can still hear the Ipod fine even with earplugs in at stupid speeds, and can still just about have a conversation at 130! THe cheaper ones are ok for upto about 40mph, but are bloody uncomfortable - you also can't wear earplugs with them I no longer have a nokia phone so have probably still got the adapter and lead if you needed one
