Default Fellow rider picked up by Northern Air Ambulance

Steve, one of the guys I occassionally ride out with (and Robchester has met) had a little accident after selling his ZX7 Ninja and buying a crosser:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mzev4loh1mA

Anyway the verdict sounds painful, he's basically snapped off his shoulder joint, broken his collar bone, and the main bone in the fore arm. The doctors have had to go away for a few days to "research" (i.e look up on the internet) how to fix the mashed shoulder, as they've never encountered it before.

So get well soon Steve (even though he isn't on this site).

And be under no doubt that crossers can be dangerous too. But apparently the Northern Air Ambulance were top notch.

It's a video link, but doesn't show the actual crash, just the before and the air ambulance rescue.

Did I really hear you saying

"Keep waving"

to a seriously injured man on the ground?

If so, well done

Tim that sounds nasty. Be sure to pass on my wishes to Steve if you see him or his mates.
