In some ways i wish it would. In other ways its a right royal pain in the butt.

Once the american market has crashed spectacularly (nicely opening the door for the Amero btw) then we will be right behind it.
But we dont have a new currency to float.

I want to buy a house. Will this be easier once the market has crashed? What shall I use to cut its brake lines to ensure this happenes if the market crashing will help me buy a house?

I dont understand economics. All I understand is the money in my bank, not in everyone elses and how that affects me.

i dont think there will be a housing crash, people arnt stupid, they arnt going to reduce their house prices because the economy has gone boom.....they will just not move.

Those select few that HAVE to move will take a serious hit though.

The cheap houses that come on the market will all be repo's and trashed or ****ty.

In summary i cant see it making a damned bit of difference to the property market except they will stop going up.

Theres a good article about it on the timesonline website from a few days ago

House prices won't crash, they'll just stop increasing in value. The UK market has more demand than supply for houses. People might stop buying because getting the credit will be more difficult but I'm not worried. My house isn't worth that much and it's still well within the 3 times the annual salary rule for your average person.
