. . . people put a fairy on top of the Christmas tree ?

Read on & be enlightened -

Santa was very cross. It was Christmas Eve & NOTHING was going right. Mrs Claus had burned the cakes, the elves were complaining about not getting paid for their overtime & the reindeer were steaming drunk having been on the booze all afternoon. To make matters wrose they'd taken the sleigh out fro a spin earlier in the day & had crashed it into a tree - Santa was FURIOUS !!

"I can't believe it ! I've got to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours - all of my reindeer are drunk, the elves are on strike & I don't even have a Christmas tree. I sent that stupid little fairy out Hours ago to find us a tree & she isn't even back yet ! What am I going to do ?"

Just then the little fairy opened the front door & stepped in from the snowy night carrying a Christmas tree.

She said "Yo, fat man ! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?" . . .

. . . the rest is history !!
