With all the laws these days who knows what is legal and what isn't. So how would your average joe go about it, if he wanted to know what he is legally allowed to do?

play the blonde. Then after you've haggled a bit of time, do your homework quick, so you can fight back with super intelligent answers. Read the small print and tie em in knots.

http://www.opsi.gov.uk/ has a lot of acts published. Other than that, I think it's a case of common sense, ie. if you think it's a bit dodgy then it probably is; any particularly complex area like financial or commercial regulation then obviously guesswork ain't the best answer and professional advice is what you seek.
What did you have in mind? ![]() |

Since we have no constitution as such, and we are all subjects, the bottom line is you don't have any "rights" to do anything really.
As a guide, if it's fun or enjoyable, it's probably illegal. Otherwise just keep it low key and you'll probably get away with it. My philosophy.

I don't want to sound like a party-pooper, but surely thats the ideal state of affairs for the ruling classes - if everyone is near-certain of having done something illegal, no-one would challenge them for fear of being found out.
Actually, that sounds like some sort of manifesto or something - can someone get me three pints of silly ASAP to make up for it? |

Right well if I ever get done by the police for a crime I'm just gonna say, How am I meant to know it is illegal? You never told me! I'm not a lawyer and I'm certainly not psychic!
I'm sure they will agree with my unquestionable logic and let me go ![]() |
