What punishment fits the crime.

Hague had received an 18 month jail term in 2005 after admitting helping another man kick Gary Kneen, 31, to death in Warrington in 2004.

Not another 18mths that's for sure.

You really should warn people there is a graffic image, turned my stomach.

Poor woman.
Don't think he should ever be placed back in the public, he's obviously a threat and shows no sign of remorse.

Although its shown in the newspaper and no doubt will be shown on the tv I have placed a warning.

Don't mind me, I'm a wimp when it comes to things like that. Haven't seen it in the papers yet, but you're right, wont be long before it is up everywhere. Although horrible, at least it will show the public what this guy is capable of.

He only got 3 1/2 years - with his previous he should have got life. He could quite easily have killed her with blows that bad to her face and head, that makes it attempted murder in my book. The fact he was tanked up is no excuse as far as I'm concerned.

I know its extreme but it made me think that some people should be locked up never to live in 'normal' society again.

execution or deportation somewhere like the Arctic or middle of the African savanna, offender's choice, people like that don't deserve to be part of a civilised society, no amount of prison is going to get him to rethink his attitude, and removing him would have zero negative effect...
