This is my first post so... hi.

I recently sold my CBR1000rr and while I make my mind up on what to get next, I picked up a 54 plate SV650s.

What usually happens is that I go on a bender and buy loads of other stuff and looking at my old alpine stars goretex gloves I knew they were my first change.

Usually I try to go bigger or better but this time decided on a different approach... Why ride in to work in the mornings with nice warm hands and then have hot hands on the way home once the world has warmed up?

So, I decided some gloves with no thermal properties would be the way forward and to just stick some heated grips on the bike.

I popped in to Hein-Gericke and found these:

They look blue in the picture but they are actually a fairly subtle grey in colour.

I have only had them a short while but they have great feel afforded by the lack of insulation and they obviously have kept my hands nice and dry being proper goretex.

They have a 1 year warranty which isn't bad I guess for a glove, considering the wear and tear and abuse they get.

I would have liked some kevlar or some other armour on the knuckles but that's about it really, they feel generally light but not fragile and for proper goretex the price isn't bad.

Anyway, i'm quite taken with them and between them and the heated grips, I'm good for all conditions other than the height of summer where I'll stick with my alpinestars MX ones.

Just another option to full on winter gloves.
