Default A productive day...

Today I

1. Put new roofing felt on the kids playhouse.

2. Fitted a Suffolk gate latch to the door of aforementioned playhouse.

3. Re-fitted the curtain rail and blind in the the kids bedroom.

4. Cleaned the bike - and by Christ it needed it!!

5. Did some washing and hung it out to dry.

6. Ate four pancakes with ice cream, chocolate sauce, maple syrup and a compulsory squeeze of lemon.

7. Had a shower.

8. Drunk two glasses of wine.

9. Would like to do some but it just aint gonna happen this side of the black stump and whilst we have a two-house Parliamentary system in this country...probably.

That is all.

Good Night.

Not a bad day.

1) Went to help my mate in his shop for 4 hours from 9am, sold some stuff.

2) Met up with old mate in local bike shop and he popped down to mine for coffee

3) Danny brought the ZX10R round for me to fit the new race fairing, did that while he chatted to old mate about racing cos both race ZX10Rs. Old mate left so me and Danny ploughed on for 2 more hours trimming a crappy fairing down so it fitted right.

4) Started repairing my SV, straightened radiator and polished the scuff out of silencer, then tapped the bent band back in line. Fitted a replacement toe-peg and swopped the fairing bracket with a brand new one donated by a racing friend of Danny's. Swopped the right handlebar, even though it looks straight to me.

5) Annoyed the kids, always good value

6) Sat in front of pc annoying anyone who cares to read my drivel.

We worked for a miserable wench all day, which left me in a stinking mood when I got back to my bosses house, and found my headlights didn't work.

She got a quote for the job that my boss was making a loss on, as she is a friend of a friend, supposedly. She then moans all day that we're expensive, all of a sudden there are two wardrobes to take from next door too, which took us a good half an hour to get out as it was about 1.5mm too big. Much swearing was heard. Then she started crying about the price!! FFS!! 400 quid for 4 blokes, 2 vans on a saturday, to move all her crap from one place to another, with a long walk at both end. Grr. And to top that off, she implied we were idiots every time we asked a question.

And breathe.

Pete and Lissa are awesome, trying to help me sort out my lights over the phone!

Tomorrow will be better

Sorry for the rant.

Hired a rug doctor, shifted all the furniture and shampooed all the carpets. Cleaned all the furniture, TV, DVD, oranaments, pictures, etc, shifted it all back again. Bought new desk for PC.

Had dinner and wine.

Plumbed PC and a million periperals all back in again on new desk with cables in cable managers.

Had shower, sat down (10 mins ago), having beer, bowl of peanuts, surfing ebay for towbar and bike trailer and obviously the .org

Wife gone to bed happy.

Tomorrow I've earned..... and the weather should be good!

Spent the day blitzing the garage (front room) and the rest of the house.

Booked a wigwam for the Ecosse weekend.

Did lots of washing.

Fell over various assorted cats too many times to count.

Cooked dinner.

Watched Spanish football.

Tried to help Sean sort his headlight issues out.

Tomorrow, out for a run with Sean when he comes over for the ART can
