In a uncharcteristically honest "our bad" the DVLA have admitted the true rate of evasion is far less than previously stated...

But i doubt vocal anti-motorcycle MPs such as half human, half flower vase Edward Leigh will be annoucing this figure as loudly as the last one

Next thing they'll be admitting that speed isn't the main cause of accidents...

So, 6.5%, rather than 40% as claimed! Oh and when you factor in that a significant number of the offenders grouped as P2W are actually uninsured, unlicenced untaxed chavs on scoots, rather than motorcyclists, you find that less than 5% of motorcyclists are actually offenders, which makes us more law abiding (in this respect at least ) than car drivers. Still, that doesn't make as good a headline, does it? So we won't see this correction emblazoned across front pages any time soon.
