ripple on the clock surround - pointy

I have no idea how my bikes developed this ripple on the clock surround?

Anybody else got the same problem?

its just above the rev counter. and is seriously peeing me off

It's where the sun is coming through the screen and the screen acts like a magnifying glass - it happens on lots of bikes fitted with double bubbles.

I have one on mine. It's at about the 2 o clocck position. This happened not long after I got it but I forgot to mention it everytime I was at the dealers.
I don't notice it so much now I'm used to it.

the plastic lense in the pointy speedo clock is very thick, it would have to get really hot to melt it.

I have a bit of a bubble on the black surround above the speedo too

First thought is definately the aftermarket screens pinpointing the suns rays. A known problem with some bike/screen combos. Second thought though, spilt brake fluid that hasn't been wiped off quickly.

I noticed the same thing on mine the other day, thought it was me going mad or something.....its at the top right hand side of the rev counter

I have had one on the Zed for over a year now - still has the standard screen but can only assume strong sunlight is to blame?
