What happened to peace and quiet?

In my office I have :

Public Broadcast Radio - all day. Read :advert central
People who insist on using speakerphone to dial numbers and wait until the person picks up before speaking to them
Two of the worlds most prolific whistlers in the world with the musical ability of a snail
Computer gadgets that insist on beeping upon every glance
Phones with customisiable ringtones that never stop ringing

Have the days of silence disappeared?

I know how you feel, we have people here who ring on speakerphone until it picks up, a couple occasionaly continue the conversation on speakerphone, drives me mental.Also, one girl here insists on singing Aga do all the time so it ends up in everyones head!!!!!

I have a kitchen right next to my office, people seem to insist on having tea meetings in there or even worse taking mobile calls in there whilst talking incredibly loud.
