Can anyone help?
I was at a track day on sat. in the pouring rain and after a couple of sessions I noticed that the oil through the oil window had turned a delightful shade of milk chocolate brown. I assumed that somwhow water had got into the engine. Has anyone had this before, i'm hoping against hope that the head gasket hasn't gone but I checked the plugs and the pipe and there did not seem to be any moisture which you would expect. Cheers davyblue ![]() |

Brown doesn't sound too bad? It doesn't always stay goldie coloured.
Check for a white layer on top of the oil when it's cooled down, that's the usual sign of water in it.
